Hullo, mes amis! Welcome home to River’s Edge! Reviews from  ARC readers are already coming in and they’re loving this story!

“Every word that Nan Reinhardt writes is a gift to her readers.”

“As with all of this author’s books, the stories are clean romances with characters that you’d love to meet in real life.”

“Wonderful, heartwarming story where the puppy really steals the show and who is the architect to the HEA that these three deserve.”

Today is release day for book 4 in the Walkers of River’s Edge series–Made to Love You. So many readers have asked for Annabelle Walker’s story and I’m delighted to share it with you. Annabelle is a complex character–always chipper and fun and encouraging to all her family and friends. She’s smart and funny and beautiful inside and out. Who knew she was hiding a world of hurt?

She’s not looking for love, but a handsome veterinarian and a lost puppy have other plans…

Gorgeous and gifted, Annabelle Walker is a force of nature. A talented architect who has brought new designs and concepts to her family’s construction firm, Anna’s happy and doesn’t feel anything’s missing from her life, even as her siblings have all fallen in love this year. And then she finds an injured puppy on a bike ride.

Veterinarian Sawyer Braxton is lost while driving to his first day at Price Veterinary Clinic. He stops to ask directions of a bicyclist on the side of the road, and discovers three things: She’s beautiful, stranded with a flat tire, and holding an injured puppy. Sawyer’s fascinated, and it feels like fate as he offers the intriguing and vibrant woman a ride to the vet clinic.

It’s a meet-cute, and Annabelle’s definitely attracted, but she’s determined that this time, she really will take a break from men. Sawyer’s as stubborn as he is sexy, and he hits on a plan for a date—they’ll both foster the pup while it heals.

I had such a good time writing Annabelle’s story and closing out the Walkers series. You know how I love a happily-ever-after… You’ll see the Walkers now and again in my new series–The Dykemans of River’s Edge. Jack, Eli, Joe, Cam, and Anna Walker will be growing their families, their business, and of course, their beloved town on the Ohio River.

So many folks to thank as Annabelle’s story releases, including my publisher, Jane Porter, my amazing editor, Sinclair Sawney, all the great team at Tule Publishing, my critique partners, Cheryl Brooks and Sandy James, my writing bestie, Liz Flaherty, and my betas readers to name a few. And to you, my dear readers, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support for River’s Edge!

Let’s celebrate release day with a giveaway for you–my readers! I have a box of goodies that includes a signed print copy of Made to Love You, a $10 Starbucks gift card, a handmade guardian angel bracelet, a River’s Edge notebook, and some other fun swag for one lucky commenter. Congrats on the release! Although I love all the River’s Edge books, Annabelle’s story is one of my favorites. As for pets, I was one of five kids, and we had dogs and cats all the time. Most memorable was Duchess, our collie, who was a descendant of one of the early Lassies.

My first pet was a kitten when I was about in 3rd or 4th grade. We had a family cat who had kittens. One was a grey long hair little puffball. I named it Puff. Thjey were outside cats and just disappeared one day. I searched the fields for days. My father finally said he took them to a farm so they would be happy. I discovered years later that farm was the county animal pound. My first real pet was many years later after I was married. She was a beagle mix puppie we rescued from a farm. She was a fantastic member of the family. She moved from Northern NY to Colorado Springs, CO, to Sacremento, CA, to Washington, DC area, and finally to NE TN. She was 15 when she left us. She traveled well and was the sweetest dog. We are on dog number 15 now, but she and the lab we got after she left us will always be our favorites.

Happy Release Day! I am not sure what my first pet was, because it always seemed like we always had a cat. My first kitty I remember was a deaf white kitty named snowball. She had one blue eye and one green eye.

My first cat as a child was named, Oreo. She loved playing bouncy ball with a small super ball down our basement stairs, she let it bounce down and then bring it back up.

The first pet that I remember is Candy. I was able to pick her out as a puppy. She would sleep with me. When we went on vacation to West Virginia, I would sleep in a sleeping bag. At bedtime, she would crawl the the bottom of the sleeping bag and sleep all night. She was fabulous to take on trips. Happy book birthday. Thank you so much for the opportunity. God bless you.

Congratulations on the release! Wishing you tons of sales. The first pets I remember was a collie named Mort and two cats named Pretty Cat and Pert. I loved them, but I was little and don’t remember much about them. Of course, now I have Sprite…

Other than a few random goldfish won at carnivals, my first pet was a cockapoo named Pokey ❤️ He was the best dog…

Happy Release Day! My first pet was a cat named Tiger. He was a grey tabby. Unfornuately he was hit by a school bus on our snowy street. I was devastated. I have had many cats over the years and now I have 4, 3 boys and a girl.
