Sunday Snippet: The Snoozy and Anticipation Edition

I’m at the lake this weekend, sleeping. Seriously…it’s as if someone has drugged my beverages. All I want to do is sleep. We’re both in that mode. I think it could be both of actually relaxing for the first time in months, but we’re going to bed early-ish, waking up late-ish, and taking little catnaps throughout the day. We should be getting some things done here at the cottage–window washing, floors need to be scrubbed, and we need to trim around the edges of the yard. The boat is finally in the water, and I did vacuum it really well yesterday before we launched, but the seats need to be wiped down and the walls washed. Instead, we’ve been reading and sleeping. I’m okay with that…sometimes you just need to sleep and if you aren’t relaxing fully on a regular basis, the universe will eventually force you to do it.

Falling for the Doctor releases on Tuesday, so I am in strong anticipation mode. I have a list of promotion stuff that’s happening– a Tule Book Club drop-in that day, several blog stops, some promotion sites, a special giveaway right here because I’ll be in the Author Spotlight this week. Lots going on, and I’ve got a checklist to keep me as organized as I can be. I did something different with this book release by not using a blog tour company and instead contacting reviewers and book bloggers myself and booking time with them. It was a lot more work, I grant you, but I’ll be curious to see if it makes a difference in sales.

So…you’re going to see me in all my promotion glory on Tuesday–get ready. In the meantime here’s a look at the lake from our cruise yesterday and a bit of gratitude: Getting the boat into the water; beautiful early summer days; writing because I am getting some done this week; the kids are feeling better after a wicked bout with covid, except now Grandboy has it (that was inevitable); Tule Publishing, which gives me so much support as both writer and editor. I am richly blessed.

Stay well, stay safe, continue to send light to Ukraine, and most of all, mes amies, stay grateful!

Val, I’ll put TFCW up on BookSprout. Because you’ve gotten books from me there before, maybe they’re including you as part of my review team. I hope so! That would be awesome. I’ll let you know when it goes up there and if you don’t get it, I’ll sure send you one! Hugs!!

I checked out Booksprout today and made sure that I had my account in good shape! I also requested books by you! Hopefully, that will do the trick! I’ll let you know if there are issues. I look forward to TCFW when it comes available! By the way, happy release day on FFTD! I put up my reviews this morning!!!
