Author Spotlight: It’s Me with Some Fun Stuff for You

Congratulations, Debra and Linda, you two are my winners of a $5 Amazon gift card and a free e-book ARC of Made to Love You. I’ll get those right out to you!

Yup, today I’m in my own Spotlight, which happens now and again. I hope you forgive my shameless self-promotion, but I confess this blog sometimes does that.

It is snowy here in the Midwest, which is okay by me. The world is white and quiet and the snow sparkles in the sunlight. The brisk cold sorta takes your breath away, but it’s wondrous to watch from inside my warm cozy house. Here’s a little something to warm your heart on this cold January day. Just for fun, I’m giving away an e-book ARCs of Made to Love You and a $5 Amazon gift card to two lucky commenters. Just tell me in the comments what the weather is doing in your part of the world.

On to my news! I’m celebrating first books in three of my series with N.N. Light’s Book Heaven, so zip over here and check out all the firsts and grab a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card. It’s fun and includes three of my series firsts: Make You Mine–book 1 in the Walkers of River’s Edge series; Home to River’s Edge–book 1 in the Weaver Sisters series; and The Valentine Wager–book 1 in the Lange Brothers series. Who can forget hot, hot cop, Ryker Lange and his Irish lass, Kit Boynton? Right?

Also, big news is that reviews are coming in for Made to Love You, book 4 in the Walkers of River’s Edge series. I loved writing Annabelle Walker’s story because I was able to dig a little deeper into her personality, discover some frailty that we didn’t see in her character in the other Walker stories. And, much to the delight of my pet-loving readers, I managed to work in a stray pup who plays Cupid for Anna and the new vet in town, Sawyer Braxton. You can preorder Made to Love You and it will appear on your e-readers on January 23!

I’m delighted that reviewers are falling in love with Anna, Sawyer, and Trixie! Here’s few samples of what folks have to say:

“This book flowed easily and made me fall in love with the characters, Hallmark movie style.”

“I really enjoyed this book. Great plotline that kept me engaged and wanting to know how things were going to work out.”

“The writing is wonderful and engaging. I highly recommend this series as well as others the Nan has written with River’s Edge as the setting.”

“A charming and delightful tale. A sweet romance with an adorable dog at the center of the story.”

“Every word that Nan Reinhardt writes is a gift to her readers.”

She’s not looking for love, but a handsome veterinarian and a lost puppy have other plans…

Gorgeous and gifted, Annabelle Walker is a force of nature. A talented architect who has brought new designs and concepts to her family’s construction firm, Anna’s happy and doesn’t feel anything’s missing from her life, even as her siblings have all fallen in love this year. And then she finds an injured puppy on a bike ride.

Veterinarian Sawyer Braxton is lost while driving to his first day at Price Veterinary Clinic. He stops to ask directions of a bicyclist on the side of the road, and discovers three things: She’s beautiful, stranded with a flat tire, and holding an injured puppy. Sawyer’s fascinated, and it feels like fate as he offers the intriguing and vibrant woman a ride to the vet clinic.

It’s a meet-cute, and Annabelle’s definitely attracted, but she’s determined that this time, she really will take a break from men. Sawyer’s as stubborn as he is sexy, and he hits on a plan for a date—they’ll both foster the pup while it heals.

May be an image of textBig doings this weekend–Liz and I are headed to our winter writing retreat–a very good thing because I need to focus on my current WIP, which is a bit of a step outside my box. I always love our retreats and this is in our favorite little inn down in the hills of Brown County, Indiana. I’ll keep y’all posted on how it’s going, okay?

Stay well, stay warm, send lots of good energy to the firefighters in SoCal–so many folks lives are devastated by those wildfires. Huge kudos to Gov. Newsome, who’s working ’round the clock to help his citizens, to President Biden, who offered aid from FEMA and the government, and all the rescue workers, firefighters, and volunteers who are on the ground ready to help. This how a nation works together to help each other.
