Sunday Snippet

Can you believe it’s Sunday again? Yeah, neither can I. This week passed so quickly as writing, editing gigs, and fall yard clean-up were on tap for me. My Sunday Snippet today is actually a recommendation–if you have access to the Hallmark channels, watch Jingle Bell Bride! If you don’t have access, read on…I can help!

I was also soooo excited that my fellow Tule Author Scarlett Wilson’s holiday romance Jingle Bell Bride was going to kick off the new Hallmark Countdown to Christmas! However, I had no way to watch it since Husband and I opted out of signing up for a cable service when we moved into our new home. We merely stream Netflix and Amazon Prime channels and pick up local and national news on an antennae. So, no Hallmark channel. Determined to figure out a way to see Scarlett’s movie without having to sign up for a cable TV package, I went out onto the internet to see what I could find. Voila! I found Frndlytv.com–a small streaming service that for a mere $5.99/month gives you all three Hallmark channels along with several other family-friendly channels. We signed up and I got to see Jingle Bell Bride, which was adorable and well done. Husband even enjoyed it, surprising because neither Roosevelt nor Churchill made an appearance in this sweet romantic film.

I’m deep into writing this week, along with a couple of days of virtual school with Grandboy and working on some editing gigs. Fall housecleaning is going to have to wait until after I finish this book, which is okay. Husband will help out when the time comes and we’ll go into the holiday season all lovely and fresh.
