Author Spotlight: Love at the Chocolate Shop with 6 Amazing Authors!

I’ve already mentioned that I’m moving settings and will be writing my next four books in Marietta, Montana, Tule’s fictional western town at the foot of Copper Mountain. Marietta is full cowboys and rodeos and ranches and romance–I already love it there! One of the coolest shops in Marietta is Sage Carrigan’s Copper Mountain Chocolates. I had so much fun taking my Forever Cowboy main characters, Beth and Del, into the chocolate shop, where she salivated over all the sweet treats!

This week, I’m delighted to welcome six fellow Tule authors to the Spotlight today with a fun and fabulous new chance to win all twelve Love at the Chocolate Shop books–signed by the authors, plus some other sweet surprises! Pal and fellow Tule and Montana Born author Deb Salonen is here to tell you all about it…

What do chocolate, romance, and 6 authors have in common?

Costco has a candy made by Kirkland that is called S’mores. I love Scotchmallows from See’s candy but this one takes the cake. It’s very similar, but it has graham cracker in it.
I have not read any books but I sure would love to! I’d love to post about them on my book Instagram account.

    • Debra Salonen

Cindy, I’ve seen that at Costco, but haven’t tried. Sounds like the perfect treat to take on our RV trips–no messy s’mores fixin’s to carry along.

I do hope you’ll give this free book a try. I’d love to see/share your review.

      Happy reading,

      Deb

This is such a cool give away. I’ve only read two of the books in the series. I do remember thinking I NEEDED chocolate.

    • Debra Salonen

So glad I’m not the only one. Sage’s hot chocolate is very popular, which might appeal to readers “down under.” I’m in California and spring is just about over.

Thank you for sharing this, Nan. I love dark chocolate with caramel, but I am not going to turn any chocolate as long as it’s not white chocolate. I haven’t read anoy of the books yet, but the series sounds great.

    • Debra Salonen

Hi, Latesha! Thanks for chiming in. I used to love caramels—and my mother-in-law’s chocolate-covered caramels were a huge treat at Christmas. Sadly, she never taught me how to make that recipe.

The best part of this series for me was the wide range of stories. My two loosely touch base with my Marietta family but also fit in with this series. Funny how that happens.

      All the best,
      Deb

I love dark chocolate I haven’t read these books but would love to The tote bag is nice too!!
    Thank you, Nan

Hi, Kate! My fellow authors and I had so much fun with series. Personally, I made it point to visit speciality chocolate shops in all my travels. Discovered a jewel in Denver, but one of my faves was a tiny shop in Cambria, California.

      Happy reading,

      Deb

Hi Kate, I hope you’ve downloaded the free book from Marin Thomas, Sweet Home Cowboy. It will give you a nice taste for the series. Good luck in the contest!

  • C. J. Carmichael

Big hello to all my fellow chocolate and romance lovers. The two go together so well don’t you think? Thank you Nan for spotlighting one of my favorite collaborations. Working with Roxanne, Steena, Marin, and Melissa on this project was so much fun. I challenge anyone who has read the entire series to name just one favorite character or love story. For me there were so many! For those entering the reader box giveaway–good luck! And I hope everyone reading this downloads their free copy of Sweet Home Cowboy. It’s not the first book in the series, but it’s a great place to dip into the series and start falling in love.

And Deb, you meant to add, right? 😉

Can’t wait to see you in July. Will we be visiting a chocolate shop? Fingers crossed.
