Winner!! Sarah Taylor, you are Janice’s giveaway winner. Janice will be in touch with you. Thanks to everyone for stopping by and joining us!

I’m happy to welcome Janice Lynn back to the author spotlight with her newest Wrapped Up in Christmas story! She had me with the cover–isn’t it gorgeous?

USA Today bestselling author Janice Lynn lives in Tennessee with her Prince Charming, her vivid imagination, an adorable Maltese named Halo–who’s the true princess of the house–and a bunch of unnamed dust bunnies who took up permanent residence after Janice started her writing career.

After writing more than thirty books for Harlequin, Janice began writing heartwarming sweet romance stories featuring the Quilts of Valor Foundation. As a Blue Star Mom, the organization is dear to her heart.

Janice’s stories have won numerous awards including the National Readers Choice Award, The Golden Quill, The Golden Pen, the Holt Medallion Award of Merit, and RT Book Club’s The American Title Contest. She’s a Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly bestselling author.

In addition to writing romance novels, Janice has a Master’s in Nursing degree and works as a nurse practitioner. She’s a quilter, an exercise queen, a military mama, and a member of and supporter of the Quilts of Valor Foundation. Just kidding on the exercise queen.

I started writing my Wrapped Up in Christmas stories for Hallmark Publishing, so it’s no wonder that they are Christmas coated and sweet. I adore the small town of Pine Hill, Kentucky as it embodies a happy, wholesome town where Christmas reigns supreme.

There are currently four books in the series with the fourth coming out today.  Wrapped Up in Christmas Love is a story I am so proud of. As an author,  there are just some stories that are more special, and this is one of those. Isabelle was first introduced in book two, Wrapped Up in Christmas Joy, which was her sister’s story. I knew it was going to take a very special hero to win her heart. Zach was the right man for the mission. I knew he was going to have to be someone who pushed all her buttons, challenging her out of her comfort zone and making her confront things she’d buried in the past. Zach is a new character to the series and is Pine Hill to visit his friend from their Army days, Bodie Lewis.

Falling for Zach is torturous for Isabelle because he’s everything she’s always said she doesn’t want. He had such fun teasing her and I had so much fun letting him. But Isabelle got to do some pushing out of comfort zone to Zach, too, as he has some things to work through himself due to his estranged relationship with his family and his PTSD from his military service.

Here’s the back cover blurb:

On paper he reads like Mr. Wrong, but under the mistletoe he feels so right…

Determined to ensure her sister’s wedding is storybook perfect, Isabelle Davis secretly hires Army Veteran Zach Dawson to locate her estranged father. But the more time she spends with Zach surrounded by Christmas spirit and twinkling lights, Isabelle fears she’s falling in love. Can she trust her heart to a man whose past seems so similar to her absent father’s?

Zach Dawson proudly served his country for twelve years until an injury ended his military career. He holds his secrets close, but he’ll help Isabelle find her father—even if the man doesn’t want to be found. And if he’s also sewing up a storm at Isabelle’s quilt shop, and appreciating every moment spent with her, it doesn’t have to mean anything, much.

Unless he can somehow persuade Isabelle to take a chance on love? That’s a mission he’s eager to accept.

Love finds a way to open our eyes to the possibility of things we can’t otherwise imagine. Do you find yourself more attracted to someone opposite of your personality or someone similar?

One lucky commenter will win an autographed book and author swag. We’ll draw a name on Friday, November 15, so be sure to check back!

I do not remember anyone I know being in a fake relationship. I think opposites do attract, but you have to find some common ground.

No, I don’t know anyone who was in a real-life fake relationship. It is interesting to read about or watch in a movie. Some opposite traits can be good but for the most part I was attracted to the fact that my hubby and I shared the same values.

I also am not aware of anyone who faked a relationship. I think it’s good not to have same views on everything.

I don’t think I have known anyone who had a fake relationship but if anyone I do know did they did a great job. My hubby and I have become opposites attract over the years now. When we were younger we were down for dancing and hanging with friends. Now that we are older I am still the one down for dancing and hanging with friends were he would rather just stay home now.

I have never known of anyone to fake a relationship. My husband and I are opposites in a lot of ways but we have been together for 45 years so I guess it works.
