Mes amis, I am so very excited! September is finally here, which means that Tule Publishing’s new four-author series is here! Each week this month, Jeannie Watt, Nicole Flockton, Sinclair Jayne, and I will release a new Montana’s Rodeo Cowboys novel! I’ve been so honored to be a part of this series with these authors who are Western romance author-heroines of mine! They are all fabulous writers! And it was so much fun to weave a little something into all stories, but I’m not going to tell you what it is–hope you catch it as you read the four books!

The amazing Jeannie Watt leads off the series with Unforgettable Cowboy. This second-chance romance releases today and boy, will it ever zing your heart!

Jeannie WattJeannie Watt grew up in northern Idaho, where she thought she might become a marine biologist. Instead she double majored in education and geology, graduating just as the mineral exploration market imploded.  She worked driving a train in an underground mine for a year—one of four woman on a crew of three hundred—then headed back to grad school, where she met and married her geologist husband.

Jeannie and her new husband headed to northern Nevada for a one-month geology contract and ended up staying for 32 years, as one does. After 29 years of teaching middle school science, and 22 years living off the grid in the middle of Nevada cattle country, she and her husband headed to Montana, to help manage her parents’ cattle and hay ranch. She enjoys driving less that 35 miles to shop and having full-time electricity.

Jeannie writes what she knows—cowboys and small towns. She’s been writing for Harlequin since 2006 and began writing for Tule Publishing in 2015.

Jeannie, the floor is yours, my friend …

Nan, thank you for inviting me! I had so much fun working with you on our upcoming rodeo series, Montana Rodeo Cowboys and hope that our future Montana cowboys and cowgirls bump into one another.

It’s an honor to kick off the Montana Rodeo Cowboys series with Unforgettable Cowboy, the story of Hayes Matthews and Bailey Logan.  Hayes is a guy who partied hard and rodeoed harder, but now, as he’s approaching thirty, he’s starting to think about next chapters. A guy can’t rodeo forever. He also can’t start pursuing new options just yet because he has to return home to care for his injured uncle. And who does he find on the ranch, but the woman who he’s never forgotten. Nothing like close quarters to force people to sort things out and that’s exactly what happens to Hayes and Bailey. Throw in a rodeo, a secret horse and an adorable dog who has a penchant for stealing, and they have their hands full.

GIVEAWAY! Today I’m giving away a digital copy of Unforgettable Cowboy. To be eligible, tell me the name of a romance story, cowboy or otherwise, that you’d recommend. I’m looking to add to my To Be Read pile and I appreciate your help. We’ll draw a winner on Saturday morning!

Unforgettable Cowboy

She had her reasons for leaving…

When former rodeo star Hayes Matthews returns to Tree Fork Ranch to care for his injured uncle, he’s shocked to find Bailey Logan—his first love—working there. He never understood why she vanished years ago, and now, seeing her, more beautiful than ever, he wants answers. He swears he won’t fall for her again, no matter how strong the pull.

Bailey’s carving out a future as a silversmith, selling her work at rodeos, but when her best friend needs help hiding a prized horse from a bitter ex, Bailey returns to her hometown of Marietta, Montana. Living rent-free in her family’s run-down homestead, she trades labor for boarding space at the neighbor’s ranch—never expecting Hayes to be part of the deal.

Seeing him brings back all the emotions Bailey tried to forget. She ghosted Hayes to chase her dreams, afraid of repeating her mother’s mistakes—giving up everything for love. Now here they are, together during the Copper Mountain Rodeo, and Hayes more tempting than ever.

Hayes wants the truth. Bailey wants—much to her horror—Hayes.
