Author Spotlight: Welcome Romance Author Anna Grace
I recently joined the Southern Oregon Central Oregon Chapter of the Romance Writers of America–another wonderful opportunity to meet more fabulous authors and sisters in romance writing. Anna Grace is one of my new SOCO author pals and I’m so very glad to welcome her to the Spotlight today.
Award-winning author Anna Grace writes fun, heartfelt romance novels that have been described as “having the feel good vibes of a Hallmark film, with the emotional complexity of book club fiction.” Anna’s Oregon roots, love of family and community shine through in her multiple series with Harlequin Heartwarming. Whether exploring the west with her husband in their remodeled sprinter van, or wandering new city streets in search of an art museum, Anna loves to travel. You can find her on social media where she’s busy stamping likes on images of cappuccino, novels, and other people’s dogs.

Hi Nan! Thank you for inviting me to an author spotlight. I love chatting books with authors and readers.
This month, I’m celebrating the release of my new romantic comedy series with Harlequin Heartwarming, The Holiday Ranch Romances. These have been so fun to write, but also a challenge to keep up with the emotional stakes.
The Holiday siblings are faced with a choice; dramatically change their business plan or lose the heavily mortgaged family ranch. When an events planner approaches the siblings with a proposal to turn Holiday Ranch into a premier destination for weddings, proms and parties, it sounds like the answer to all their prayers. Little do they know the drama is just getting started!
In this series, each of the siblings works to overcome a wound inflicted by their late father, Bruce Holiday. Again and again, the characters are judged by their father’s actions as they attempt to create a new path for themselves. As a writer, it’s been a challenge to help the characters take part in productive struggle, and ultimately choose love over fear. I was surprised by how much of my own past I dredged up to fuel the emotional conflict in these books. It’s been a cathartic experience.
True to the series title, each of these stories features a holiday: Easter, Fourth of July, Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Halloween. It’s been an absolute blast coming up with the parties and events that take place at different times of year. After reading the Christmas novel in this series (with an over-the-top, influencer wedding as part of the story), my editor asked me how much time I was spending on Pinterest looking up wedding and holiday details. The answer is way too much!
All in all, I’ve loved writing this series. It’s been fun to go all in on the Harlequin Heartwarming promise of heart, humor, community and finding home.
GIVEAWAY! I included several of my family’s holiday traditions in these books, like exchanging books on Christmas eve. Do you have a favorite holiday tradition? A print copy of The Firefighter’s Ranch Homecoming and a swag notebook for a randomly chosen responder.

He’ll help his siblings turn the property into an events venue…and he’ll even take fake engagement photos with Elliana Wright, their pretty new business partner. But when the ruse turns into a much bigger responsibility, Beau might be in over his head. Elliana makes her living celebrating love and commitment—things Beau never thought he wanted. And yet, as spring revives Holiday Ranch, Beau might be falling for a woman who can see him for the hero he is…and rescue him right back!
