Celebrating Indiana Romance Authors: Aleatha Romig

Today, I’m pleased to welcome Hoosier Romance Author Aleatha Romig to the blog. Aleatha is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana. She has raised three children with her high school sweetheart and husband of over thirty years. Before she became a full-time author, she worked days as a dental hygienist and spent her nights writing. Now, when she’s not imagining mind-blowing twists and turns, she likes to spend her time with her family and friends. Her other pastimes include reading and creating heroes/anti-heroes who haunt your dreams!

Aleatha impresses with her versatility in writing. She released her first novel, CONSEQUENCES, in August of 2011. CONSEQUENCES, a dark romance, became a bestselling series with five novels and two companions released from 2011 through 2015. The compelling and epic story of Anthony and Claire Rawlings has graced more than half a million e-readers. Her first standalone smart, sexy thriller INSIDIOUS was next. Then Aleatha released the five novel INFIDELITY series, a romantic suspense saga, that took the reading world by storm, the final book landing on three of the top bestseller lists. Next, she ventured into traditional publishing career with Thomas and Mercer. Her books INTO THE LIGHT and AWAY FROM THE DARK were published through this mystery/thriller imprint. Hi, Nan! Thank you for having me here today! I’m excited to announce my 20th release! Wow! It’s hard to believe all that has happened since my first release in August of 2011. It’s been a wild and crazy ride.
Yesterday, RESPECT, released. This is an INFIDELITY novel. (No, it’s not about cheating. It’s the name of a company).
RESPECT is set before my bestselling Infidelity series, beginning over 30 years before. It can definitely be read without reading my series. RESPECT has been branded as The Godfather meets Love Story. It is “The making of a man.”
This is Oren Demetri’s story of love, sacrifice, devotion, family, and most of all, respect.

Angelina Costello was the only woman to ever take my breath away. I couldn’t not speak to her. “I haven’t seen you since NYU.”

“I’ve been living overseas, studying history and architecture in Italy.”

“Italy! Molto bene. And now you’re back?” I asked.

“I am.”

“To stay?”

“I believe so.”

“Perhaps we could see one another,” I proposed, all the while hoping that she would say yes and saying a prayer that she would say no.
